About the Business
In 1992 Eurostitch Ltd was founded, it began by a relative asking my uncle and parents to assist him when he was let down by his supplier of pet beds - my family had never been involved in textile manufacturing before. My mum who is an excellent seamstress along with my dad (an engineer) and my uncle (an electrician) worked together to design and assemble a very small range of pet beds. My mum made them on her domestic sewing machine, my cousin cut the material with standard scissors! My dad and uncle designed the templates.
When "our" pet beds were taken to be sold, the response was overwhelming and they were asked to produce another batch! From small acorns mighty oaks grow!
The Lucky Pet brand was born, of course industrial sewing machines and cutting equipment were required, we started with one and more came as funds allowed. The brand grew at an unbelievable rate, we relocated three times in the first 2 years to allow the continued growth.
