About the Business
VioVet was founded in 2006 by Luke Cousins, the then 16-year-old son of a successful St Albans based vet and veterinary nurse. Initially as an experiment to help the family's veterinary practice sell medication and feeds online, following a change to the laws governing the sale of prescription medications.
Since then VioVet has grown tremendously becoming one of the UK's most trusted and largest veterinary supplies retailers, expanding from a tiny warehouse in Kimpton, to a large warehouse in Markyate, and to an even larger warehouse in Luton, in 2013. VioVet were officially opened in April 2014 by her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant Helen Nellis, Mayor of Luton Sheila Roden and Gavin Shuker MP for Luton North.
Featured a number of times in the Telegraph and Guardian newspapers for our success, VioVet continues to be a family owned and run business, now with over 40 employees.
